I was terribly surprised by how much food is wasted every day. Lots of food is thrown in the bin even though it was perfect to eat. Wasted food at home, schools and restaurants definitely add up to a massive amount. It is an ironic problem, as some parts of the world have suffered tragic poverty whereas lots of food is wasted in the other places.
